Red Bull Put Pistachio and Berries in a Winter Can
Pistachio and berries sounds like a trail mix argument, and Red Bull just canned it anyway. The Winter Edition Pistachio & Berries can landed today...
TOUS les JOURS and Oatly teamed up to make a Gochujang Caramel Latte, which is a fancy way of saying somebody put Korean chili paste in your coffee and dared you to order it twice.
The drink layers espresso and Oatly Barista Edition with gochujang caramel syrup, vanilla oat cold foam, and crushed Lotus Biscoff cookies on top. Sweet, spicy, creamy, crunchy. It reads like a dare on paper but it makes complete sense if you think about it: gochujang already has that fermented sweetness built in, caramel tames heat better than almost anything, and coffee plus sweet heat is a combination the entire world has been flirting with for years. It is available hot or iced at TOUS les JOURS bakeries nationwide through November 30.
Fall coffee menus are usually just pumpkin spice with a costume on.
Moe Train
The backstory is cool too. This whole thing started as an iced Gochujang Latte that Oatly made with the artist Yaeji for a New York pop-up celebrating Korean cafe culture. TOUS les JOURS took the idea, caramel-forwarded it, and scaled it up for the whole country.
Fall coffee menus are usually just pumpkin spice with a costume on. Respect to these two for actually taking a swing. Sweet heat in a latte is a bold move, and bold moves are how you find out you were right.
